By day, Yukari is nothing more than your average teenager; she's the popular girl at Gekkoukan High, known for her outgoing and social disposition-- but mostly her looks. She could probably get any guy she wanted, but she always turns them down. In actuality she refuses to let anyone get close to her, having the mindset that there isn't anyone who could understand how she feels about her thoughts and problems. She loves shopping, especially for designer clothing and accessories, and most of all the color pink. On the flipside she has quite the temper and is easily irritable, not afraid to speak up her mind; there's plenty of bark behind her, although she'd rather not bite. Even in times of doubt Yukari has lots of determination, enough stubbornness to make anyone groan, and a strong desire for independancy. Nothing out of the ordinary, right?

But once the sun sets and the clock strikes midnight, this average teenager is out to save the world. Yukari is part of a secret organization, disguised as an after school club, called S.E.E.S.-- a group of Persona users who summon manifestations of their psyche to fight strange monsters called Shadows that threaten humanity. Initially, she was out to find the truth behind her father's mysterious death while working with the Kirijo Group. Now, she's here to help get everything restored back to its natural order. She is the token healer of the group, her element being wind, and current Persona being Isis. She's also well practiced in archery, so that is her main weapon in battle.

In short, Yukari is just a normal girl stuck in a totally weird situation, but she's out there to do her part for the sake of those who need it. You wouldn't want the world to end either, hm?
